UPS Plans to Operate a Drone Delivery Service
The logistics company announced that it has applied with the FAA for a certification to operate unmanned aerial drones for commercial purposes.
As part of the move, the company stated that it has formed a subsidiary named UPS Flight Forward, Inc.
UPS already transports medical samples via unmanned drones at “WakeMed’s flagship hospital and campus in Raleigh, N.C.” The company plans to expand the service to other hospitals in the future.
Starbucks Looks to Deliver Throughout the US in Early 2020
The coffee company announced that its expanding its partnership with Uber Eats to offer deliveries throughout the United States.
The partnership looks to help extend Starbucks potential customer base by leveraging the expertise of the Uber Eats delivery service.
Realogy Teams up with Amazon
The residential real estate service announced that its collaborating with Amazon to extend the value of TurnKey, its “homebuying program that simplifies the process of finding and settling into a new home.”
The collaboration with Amazon will offer a move-in benefit that looks to offer up to $5,000 in complementary products and Amazon Home Services.
TurnKey is available in 15 US Cities.
