The new promotion is to celebrate the debut of its new Ultimate Steakburgers line.

The new burger menu items look to boost sales to grow its Lunch and Dinner business.

Starbucks and Chase Introduce a New Visa Prepaid Card

Starbucks announced on Monday that it has partnered with Chase to offer a new Starbucks Rewards™ Visa® Prepaid Card. The new card allows customers to earn loyalty points on purchases made outside of Starbucks locations.

It’s the second co-branded product introduced by the companies this year following the launch of the Starbucks Rewards™ Visa® Card in February.

Workday Acquires Adaptive Insights

Adaptive Insights helps over 3,800 organizations around the globe with business planning cloud software.

Together, Workday and Adaptive Insights will enable customers to better plan, execute, and analyze across the enterprise all in one system.

Uber Applies for a Patent That Detects Drunk Passengers

In an article first reported on by CNN, Uber has applied for a patent that would determine an unusual behavior of a passenger.

The patent application describes using a system that would implement machine learning technology to determine if data input accuracy, data input speed, interface interaction behavior, device angle, or walking speed has been compromised or is out of the norm of a user’s normal behavior.

The patent application states that the driver would also be alerted to the predicted state of the user via a text message or notification.
