Kraft Heinz Appoints a New CEO
The food company announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Miguel Patricio as its Chief Executive Officer.
Patricio joins the company from Anheuser-Busch InBev where he served various leadership positions during his time of approximately two decades with the company.
Patricio succeeds “Bernardo Hees, who will remain CEO through June 30, 2019, to ensure a seamless transition”.
Target Launches a New Household Essentials Brand
The retail company is introducing “Everspring, a new household essentials brand comprised of more than 70 household essentials items.”
A few items include multi-purpose cleaners, laundry detergents, and paper towels.
According to a company press release, Everspring products will be made with “ingredients and components that are derived from plants or use other renewable materials, as well as post-consumer recycled paper.”
Elon Musk stated that the company is expecting to launch a limited line of robo-taxis in 2020.
According to a statement made by Musk at the Tesla Autonomy Investor Day in Palo Alto, California, users would be able to summon a car, hop in, and go for a drive.
The potential move would be the company’s first step into the ride-sharing market.
