Impossible Foods Raises $300 Million from Jay-Z and Others
The plant-based burger company announced that the Series E equity round of funding was led by existing investors Temasek and Horizon Ventures.
The company announced that the round also had participation from investors including Jay-Z, Katy Perry, and Serena Williams.
Impossible Foods stated that the new funds will help with hiring and expanding its plant in Oakland, California.
Uber Launches an Enhanced Uber Black Experience
The company announced that it’s offering new premium features for Uber Black and Uber Black SUV riders to personalize their trip.
According to a company news release, “Quiet Mode, help with luggage, temperature control, extended pickup periods and premium support will be available to 100% of US Uber Black and Uber Black SUV riders on May 15.”
Adobe Teams up with Amazon
The software company announced that it’s collaborating with Amazon to offer Magento Commerce branded stores for Amazon sellers.
Magento, which is part of the Adobe Experience Cloud, looks to “give sellers a seamless way to grow their business and manage their online presence across Amazon.com and their own storefront.”
The offering is available in North America and will soon be available to customers in Europe over the next few months.
