DropCar Expands its Hiring Program
The last mile logistics solutions startup announced that it’s expanding its “hiring efforts across New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC and Baltimore due to growth in new and existing B2B contracts.”
Founded in 2015, DropCar works with dealerships, fleet owners, OEMs and shared mobility companies to offer a last-mile logistics platform that helps “reduce costs, streamline logistics and deepen relationships with customers.”
Meredith Completes its Sale of the Fortune Media Brand
The American media conglomerate announced in a company press release that it has “closed on the sale of the FORTUNE media brand for $150 million cash to Fortune Media Group Holdings Limited.”
The deal which was first announced at the beginning of November will provide the media company with proceeds to pay down debt. Meredith is expected to reduce its debt by $1 billion in its fiscal 2019.
LiveNation Acquires Argentina’s Leading Concert Promotion Company
The events promoter and venue operator announced that it “has acquired a majority stake in DF Entertainment, one of Argentina’s top independent concert promoters.”
The deal looks to expand LiveNation’s reach and expertise in the region.
