Amazon Launches its Garage Delivery Option
The technology company announced that customers are able to receive deliveries “in their garage using the Key Smart Garage Kit.”
According to a company press release, customers are able to select In-Garage Delivery as an option for purchases made on Amazon.com. They will then be able to “check the status of their garage door in the Key by Amazon app and remotely open or close it.”
The option is available to eligible Amazon Prime members based in the United States.
General Mills Announces a New Wind Power Agreement
The food manufacturer announced that it plans to “match 100 percent of its annual U.S. electricity use with new wind power agreement.”
According to a company press release the “15-year power purchase agreement with Roaring Fork Wind” will be for “200 megawatts (MW) of its Maverick Creek wind project.”
General Mills stated that the project is expected to produce renewable energy credits “that, together with the company’s previous wind power agreement, are calculated to equal 100 percent of the electricity used annually at the company’s owned domestic facilities.”
Postmates Stated that it Serves More than 70% of US Households

The logistics company announced in a company blog post that it “now operates in more than 3,500 cities, serving more than 70% of US households across all 50 states.”
The company, which offers “on-demand delivery from more than 500,000 restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, and traditional retailers” is expected to go public later this year.
