Amazon Launches a Store Featuring Nearly 20,000 U.S. Small and Medium-sized Businesses

The company announced that it’s introducing Amazon Storefronts, a store that allows customers to shop exclusively from U.S. small and medium-sized businesses selling on Amazon.

Storefront offers a curated collection of over one million products and deals from nearly 20,000 U.S. small and medium-sized businesses.

According to a company press release, “more than 300,000 U.S.-based small and medium-sized businesses started selling on Amazon” in 2017.


WeWork Acquires a Workplace Software and Analytics Company

The company announced that it has acquired Teem, a software and analytics company providing enterprises with tools, data, insights, and analytics to help them optimize their offices.

At the time of acquisition, Teem worked with more than 2,800 customers.

According to a company press release, the company will continue to “operate as an independent business line” and will also be “part of a broader package of WeWork offerings to enterprises and Powered by We clients.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.


Instagram Provides its Users with New Ways to Shop on its Platform

The company announced that it’s expanding its Shopping in Stories feature which will be available to businesses in 46 countries around the globe.

Users will be able to view a company’s Instagram story and click on an item to learn more information about products.

The social media company also announced that it’s launching a feature that allows users to Shop via the Explore page which offers users a personalized feed of products available for purchase.
