The social media platform announced that it has acquired Fabula AI, a startup that uses deep learning to detect network manipulation.

According to a Twitter blog post, the London-based startup will help it combat disinformation, spam, and abuse on its platform.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.


Apple is Replacing iTunes

The technology company announced that it will be phasing out its iTunes product.

Apple stated that the iTunes library will be replaced by, and integrated into three standalone apps focused on music, podcasts, and video.

The announcement was made on Monday at its 2019 Worldwide Developers Conference.

The digital payments company announced an all-in-one global solution that looks to provide businesses with the same payments infrastructure used by Facebook Marketplace, BigCommerce, and Instagram.

The offering helps marketplaces, ecommerce solution providers, and crowdfunding platform businesses scale globally, simplify compliance, and enable access to advanced risk and fraud prevention tools.

PayPal expects the new offering to be made available in over 40 markets around the globe by the end of the year.
