Nike Increases the Pay for More than 7,000 Employees

CNBC reports that Nike is raising the salaries of over 7,000 employees, which is approximately 10% of its workforce, following an internal review of its compensation offerings.

The increase in salaries for select employees is an effort to address pay inequality.

The report also states that the company is reportedly also looking to change the way its yearly bonuses are determined.

Chick-fil-a Rolls Out Meal Kits

The fast-food chain is looking to make it easy for customers to cook their own meals at home through its Mealtime Kits.

The kits are expected to launch at 150 restaurants across the Atlanta area from August 27th to November 17th. They will cost $15.89 and will include menu items such as Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Enchiladas, and Dijon Chicken.

The move brings Chick-fil-a in a competitive market joining other companies who offer meal kits such as Blue Apron, Amazon, and Walmart.

Pinterest’s Ad Revenue Business is Reportedly Booming

CNBC reported that Pinterest is reportedly nearing $1 billion in ad revenue, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The increase in ad sales looks to help the company reportedly double its ad revenue from $500 million in 2017.

According to CNBC, the social media company is also reportedly looking to go public by 2019.

Both companies are working on a talent management agency that exclusively represents fitness influencers looking to unlock large-scale lifestyle sponsorship deals.

The management agency will launch with a network of employees from across the brands’ global portfolio of Fitness Clubs and Studios.

It will be supported with advisory from WME.

Equinox operates 93 upscale, full-service fitness clubs in cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Soulcycle operates 88 studios across 15 North American markets.
