Toyota Invests Half a Billion into Uber

TechCrunch reports that Toyota is teaming up with Uber to roll out an autonomous vehicle. The company will also invest $500 million in Uber.

Under the terms of the deal, Toyota Sienna vehicles will be running on Uber’s self-driving technology.

The pilot launch is expected to begin in 2021.

Microsoft will be selling its XBox One X and S consoles in monthly installment plans which will allow users to own the device after two years.

Under the plan, customers will be able to get unlimited access to over 100 games with Xbox Game Pass for 24 months. Customers will also have access to Xbox Live Gold for 24 months.


Berkshire Hathaway Buys a Stake in an India-based Fintech Company

Reuters reports that Berkshire Hathaway invested in India’s One97 Communications, which is the parent company of Paytm, a digital payments company.

According to TechCrunch, the move marks the first time the investment firm invested in an India-based startup.

The transaction amount or stake in the company has not been disclosed.
