Starbucks Teams up with Uber Eats in Japan
The consumer beverage company announced that it’s working with Uber Eats to deliver beverages and food products in an effort to gain more customers in Japan’s rapidly growing food delivery market.
The company plans to run the pilot starting with 6 locations. If successful, it plans to scale out the program within the next two years.
The new service begins on November 9th.
Amazon Alexa Launches in Mexico
The e-commerce giant announced the launch of its Alexa and Echo Now products in Mexico.
According to a company press release, “Alexa has learned to speak and understand Spanish tailored for Mexico, and developers around the world are creating skills and devices with Alexa built-in for Mexican customers.”
Devices are currently available for pre-order and will be shipping next week.
Apple Opens its First Store in Thailand
The company announced that it’s opening its first store in the country’s capital of Bangkok in a move to help cater to its customers in the region.
The store will feature the full line of Apple products which includes the “iPhone XS, iPhone XR and Apple Watch Series 4.”
The company stated that more than 100 employees will be present to greet customers on its opening day this Saturday.
