Amazon is Field Testing a Delivery Robot

The tech company announced that it’s testing a new delivery system called Amazon Scout.

The new offering gives customers the opportunity to have their ordered items delivered by an autonomous robot the size of a small cooler.

The field tests will initially launch in the Snohomish County of Washington.

Youtube TV is Launching Nationwide in the United States

The streaming platform announced that it’s expanding Youtube TV, a cable-free live TV offering, which will be available to viewers nationwide in the United States.

The rollout will be available to 95 markets providing coverage to over 98% of households in the country.

Youtube TV offers over 60 networks including ABC, NBC, and CBS. In addition to other benefits, it also provides viewers with the ability to record live TV and will be available at $40 per month.

23andMe Receives FDA Clearance for a Cancer Test

The direct-to-consumer DNA genetic testing and analysis company announced that it has received FDA clearance to determine if a user has an increased risk of developing colorectal cancer.

The test reports on two genetic variants of MUTYH-associated polyposis.

According to a company press release, the “new clearance is part of 23andMe’s ongoing efforts to work with the FDA to offer additional Genetic Health Risk reports as part of its Health + Ancestry Service.”
