Clutter, an On-Demand Storage Company Raises New Funds

The Culver City, California-based company announced that it has closed a $200 million Series D round of new funding led by Softbank’s Vision Fund.

The funds will help the company expand into new markets and increase its presence in the cities it already operates in. Clutter is currently available in eight markets including Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City.

Chevrolet Rolls Out a Vehicle Locate Feature

The division of the General Motors Company announced that its driver will be able to locate a vehicle if needed.

According to a company press release, the feature will be available through its myChevrolet mobile app which allows Chevy owners to alert trusted and concerned friends and family when its “connected vehicle enters or leaves a designated boundary area, or arrives at or departs from an address.”

The feature will be available for 2012 and newer models in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Kroger and Ocado Announce Two New Robotics Warehouse Facilities

The grocery retailer announced that it’s working with Ocado to launch two new fulfillment centers in the Central Florida and Mid-Atlantic regions.

The new customer fulfillment centers operate automated warehouse facilities with digital and robotic capabilities.

The move looks to help Kroger redefine grocery shopping along the East Coast, particularly with a focus on the online shopping experience.
