Tilray Enters into a Research Partnership with Anheuser-Busch InBev
The Canadian cannabis company announced that it’s working with Anheuser-Busch InBev, a multinational alcoholic beverage company, to research non-alcoholic beverages containing the cannabis compounds of THC and CBD.
The partnership is exclusive to Canada and a decision on commercialization will be made in the future.
According to a company press release, each party “intends to invest up to $50 million USD.”
Airbnb Introduces New Global Safety Measures
The home-sharing marketplace announced that it’s rolling out a fire and carbon monoxide safety education program that looks to educate hosts and guests with resources regarding the prevention of “home fires and carbon monoxide poisoning.”
As part of the program, the company is increasing the awareness of its “free smoke and carbon monoxide alarms” program which now looks to decrease delivery times and remove restrictions on the amount of devices given to hosts. According to the company over 30,000 devices have been distributed since 2014.
The company also stated that it’s partnering with the American Red Cross on increasing the awareness of the issue and is committing a “$1 million donation to support the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign”.
RiteAid and McKesson Look to Continue Their Partnership
The American drugstore chain announced that it’s continuing its “pharmaceutical sourcing and distribution partnership for an additional 10 years” with McKesson, the multinational pharmaceutical distributor.
According to a company press release, under the new key terms of the partnership, “McKesson will continue providing Rite Aid with sourcing and direct-to-store delivery for brand and generic pharmaceutical products through March 2029.”
