Procter & Gamble Acquires a Health and Beauty Brand
The consumer goods company announced that it has acquired Walker & Company Brands, a company that makes health and beauty products for people of color.
The acquisition looks to help Procter & Gamble better serve consumers of color around the world. According to a company press release, “Walker & Company Brands will operate as a separate and wholly-owned subsidiary of P&G, continuing to be led by CEO and Founder Tristan Walker.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Farfetch Acquires a Sneaker Marketplace
The online fashion retailer announced that it has acquired Stadium Goods, a sneaker and streetwear marketplace.
The $250 million deal “will be in the form of cash and Farfetch shares, with the exact amounts to be determined at completion following customary adjustments.”
As part of the deal, “Stadium Goods will continue to operate as a standalone brand on the Farfetch platform and will be led by its existing management team.”
Accenture Acquires a Digital Media Services Company
Accenture acquires Adaptly, a company that helps brands “manage data-driven campaigns across prominent digital advertising channels and platforms” including, Instagram, Amazon, and Google.
According to a company press release, the deal looks to help “support Accenture Interactive’s ability to activate, optimize, and measure media cross-platform and help advertisers drive superior business outcomes.”
