Porsche Drops Diesel to Focus on Electric
In a move to deepen its focus on hybrid technology and electric vehicles, the company announced that it would no longer be manufacturing diesel models.
Porsche expects to invest more than 6 Billion Euros into electric models by 2022.
Last year, the diesel share of worldwide Porsches was 12 percent.
Walmart will Use Virtual Reality Devices to Train its Employees
The retail giant announced that it would be ordering more than 17,000 Oculus Go Virtual Reality devices by the end of the year to assist with employee training and development.
The company plans to use the technology in three areas of employee training which are: new technology, soft skills like empathy and customer service, and compliance.
According to a company news release, VR training boosted confidence and retention of its employees who have used the technology in training modules. Trainees who used the technology also experienced an improvement in test scores of 10 to 15 percent.
There’s a New Whiskey in Town
Eire Born Spirits announced the launch of Proper No. Twelve, which is a blend of golden grain and single malt Irish Whiskey.
Mixed Martial Arts Champion and UFC fighter, Conor McGregor, is the founder, chairman and majority owner of the new brand.
The initial launch will be in Ireland and the United States, with further expansion expected in 2019.
