BMW Looks to Launch an E-Scooter Line
The automobile manufacturer announced that it’s rolling out a line of e-scooters.
The company has teamed up with Micro Mobility Systems to develop the scooters which has a range of 7.5 miles, and top speeds up to 12 mph.
BMW stated that its BMW City Scooters will be available for purchase beginning September 2019.
Salesforce Announces a $125 Million Fund to Fuel European Enterprise Cloud Startups
The sales technology platform announced that it’s investment group, Salesforce Ventures, has launched the fund to “empower enterprise cloud startups to fuel innovation and drive customer success.”
According to the company, Salesforce Ventures has already invested in 50 companies across 13 European countries.
Snap Appoints a New Chief People Officer
The social media company announced that it has appointed Lara Sweet as its new Chief People Officer.
According to the company, Sweet “will oversee Snap’s global talent acquisition and management strategies and processes, human resource functions and the overall team experience.”
She joined Snap in 2016 and has been involved in several roles including “interim CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, and Vice President, Controller.”
