Lyft Files to Go Public
The on-demand transportation company filed an S-1 form with the SEC and a few highlights include its achievement in booking $8.1 Billion in 2018, completed over 1 billion rides since it was founded, and achieved a presence in over 300 markets across the United States and Canada.
Aside from the highlights, the company stated that had incurred $911 million in net losses in 2018.
The company is expected to kick off a wave of tech industry IPOs planned for this year.
Martha Stewart Teams up with a Cannabis Company
The lifestyle influencer, businesswoman, and personality has signed a deal to work with Canopy Growth, a Canadian-based cannabis, and hemp company.
According to a press release, Stewart will join Canopy Growth in an advisory role to initially focus on pet products and “assist with developing and positioning a broad new line of product offerings across multiple categories.”

The coffee company announced that has launched a fully immersive premium coffee experience in Tokyo.
Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo will offer over 100 unique coffee and tea beverages and exclusive merchandise.
The new location will also offer floors dedicated to coffee, tea, and cocktail bars.
