Coinbase Forms a Political Action Committee

Reuters reports that Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange platform, has formed a Political Action Committee in hopes to raise and contribute funds in future US elections, citing a filing made last Friday.

According to Reuters, no funds have been raised in the newly established PAC as of June 30th.

AT&T Expands its 5G Network

The company announced that it will roll out its 5G network to Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C. and Oklahoma City.

5G, or Fifth-generation wireless, increases the speed and responsiveness of wireless networks.

The announced cities will join Dallas, Atlanta, and Waco in an effort to bring a total of a dozen cities with 5G capabilities by the year’s end.

Snapchat’s Money Transfer Service is Reportedly Shutting Down

TechCrunch reports that Snapchat will be discontinuing its peer-to-peer money transfer feature.

The feature known as Snapcash will reportedly be removed from the app on August 30th.

Snapcash was introduced to Snapchat users in 2014, which was launched in partnership with the financial services company, Square.
