Salesforce Goes on a Hiring Spree in Ireland
The cloud-based software company announced that it’s looking to add approximately 1,500 jobs over the next 5 years at its new office in Dublin, Ireland.
The new 430,000 Sqft campus will begin opening its doors in 2021 with plans to be a regional hub for “employees across sales, customer service, technical and business operations delivering new innovations to its more than 150,000 customers around the world.”
The company already has 1,400 employees in Dublin.
PayPal Looks to Help Federal Employees Impacted by the Government Shutdown
The financial services company announced that it’s “offering an interest-free cash advance up to $500, the equivalent of one week’s take home pay, for any existing or new PayPal Credit customers who are federal employees.”
The company stated that it’s working with its partner Synchrony to help provide relief during these uncertain times.
Amazon Announces an Update on Third-Party Vendor Sales
The tech company announced that “more than 50,000 Small and Medium-sized Businesses Exceeded $500,000 in Sales in Amazon’s Stores in 2018”
According to the company, third-party sales are outpacing first-party sales on the platform.
Amazon stated that it works with small and medium-sized vendors from over 130 countries across the globe.
