Samsung Begins Production on its 1 Terabyte Smartphone Flash Storage

The technology company announced that it’s mass producing a 1 terabyte storage that allows smartphone users to access storage capacity that is comparable to a premium notebook PC.

The new storage lets users “transfer large amounts of multimedia content in significantly reduced time.”

According to a company press release, Samsung anticipates strong demand for its new 1TB storage from mobile device manufacturers around the globe.

Over the past 5 years, both companies have been able to operate 74 daily nonstop flights between the UK and the United States, invested in new technology including biometric security at Atlanta’s Hartsfield–Jackson International Airport, and introduced three new tiers of economy fares.

As part of the milestone, both airlines announced special gifts for travelers flying between London-Heathrow, Atlanta, and New York-JFK for the month of February including cocktails and Virgin Atlantic Happy Socks.

American Express announced that its members will be able to use contactless payment technology at all US Target stores.

US retailers have increasingly begun integrating their point of sale systems with contactless payment technology including “contactless cards, contactless-enabled phones and wearables.”

Target operates 1,850 stores in the United States.
