Snapchat Launches a Gaming Feature
The social media network announced that it’s launching Snap Games, a mobile gaming feature that allows users to experience games together with their friends.
Users will have access to the feature via the chat bar, with no installation required.
Snap Games will initially launch with 6 titles from mobile game developers including Zynga, SpryFox, and ZeptoLab. The new gaming feature is available to its global user base.
OnDeck Offers Same-Day Funding for Small Businesses
The online lender announced that it will “offer to fund and debit customer bank accounts with Same Day ACH transfers.”
The move looks to eliminate the pain small businesses face in the traditional ACH transfer process that can take place over multiple days.
According to a company press release, the new OnDeck offering supports up to $25,000 by 5:00 pm local time, provided that the small business books their loan or draw by 10:30 am on a business day.
Microsoft Teams up with OpenClassrooms to Target the Artificial Intelligence Talent Gap
The technology company announced that it’s teaming up with the online vocational training platform “to train and prepare students for artificial intelligence jobs in the workplace.”
The move looks to enable students with access to learning in-demand skills to qualify for high-tech jobs.
According to a Microsoft news release, “the demand for next-generation artificial intelligence skills has far outpaced the number of candidates in the job market.”
