Airbnb Launches Airbnb Adventures
The home sharing marketplace unveiled Airbnb Adventures, an expansion of its Experiences product that lets customers take part in unique and daring activities such as UFO hunting in Arizona, tracking lions in Kenya, and cliff camping in Colorado.
The company stated that participants to its Adventures product will be able to take part in over 200 activities with the median price of an Adventure being $588 for a three-day trip.
Google Expands its Presence in Oklahoma
The tech giant announced that it’s investing $600 million into its Oklahoma Data Center. The movelooks to create 100 extra jobs in the community of Pryor Creek, Oklahoma.
According to a press release, the announcement brings over $3 billion invested in Oklahoma with a total of more than 500 jobs created.
Facebook Looks to Help Increase Blood Donations in the US
The social media company announced that it plans to help increase awareness and make it easier for individuals to find opportunities to donate blood by launching a feature on its platform.
The company stated that the feature will initially be available in cities including San Francisco, New York, and Chicago, with plans for a nationwide rollout in the near future.
The move looks to bring more awareness to the ongoing need for blood donations while ensuring communities have access to safe blood when needed.
