Uber Announces That it Plans to Work with Public Transit Agencies

The ridesharing company announced that it’s partnering with public transportation agencies to help make public transit more accessible while also driving down the numbers on private car ownership.

Uber stated that it will initially be working with the Denver Regional Transportation District to help users plan their transit trips from right within the Uber app.

The multinational technology company announced that it has appointed Robert Swan as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Swan had served as the company’s interim CEO for 7 months prior to the announcement and as its Chief Financial Officer since 2016.

Apple Music Teams up with American Airlines
News Release

Apple’s music streaming service will soon be available on American Airline flights.

Apple Music subscribers will now be able to access over “50 million songs, playlists, and music videos on any domestic American Airlines flight equipped with Viasat satellite Wi-Fi with no Wi-Fi purchase required.”

According to a news release, the move makes it the first airline to provide exclusive access to the streaming service.
