Broadcom Plans to Acquire Symantec’s Enterprise Security Business
The semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions company announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Symatec’s enterprise security business for $10.7 billion.
The all cash deal looks to help Broadcom expand its infrastructure footprint. The company stated in a press release that it expects the transaction to help drive over $2 billion in “sustainable, incremental, run-rate revenues and approximately $1.3 billion of Pro Forma EBITDA”.
Adidas Shares an Update on its Second Quarter Performance
The sportswear company announced a few updates to its Q2 performance which include an increase in currency neutral revenues of 4%, growth in most market segments, and its net income from continuing operations increased 10% to € 462 million.
The company cites sales in greater China and through its eCommerce channels as one of a few driving forces in its growth in the quarter.
