Krogers Launches Driverless Grocery Delivery

The company announced that it’s piloting a self-driving grocery delivery service in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Krogers is partnering up with Nuro, a maker of driverless delivery vehicles. Customers will be able to order their items and pick them up at the curb as the autonomous vehicles arrive at its destination.
Nuro will be piloting its self-driving Toyota Prius fleet this fall.
Reuters reports that the tech giant is reportedly in discussions with a few of Europe’s top insurers to possibly launch an insurance comparison site in the UK.
According to the report, it was not immediately clear what type of insurance would be sold on any Amazon site nor did it specify when and if the site would launch.
The company announced that its users have raised over $300 million for causes they care about using birthday fundraisers.
The company introduced a feature last year which allowed its users to raise funds for causes they support.
According to Facebook, St. Jude, Alzheimer’s Association, and the American Cancer Society are among the top beneficiaries of birthday fundraisers.
